Then a trip to the newest store at The Westchester in White Plains -- Shinola -- is in your future.
The Detroit-based design brand, with stores in Manhattan, is known for watches, bicycles, leather goods, journals, jewelry, and audio equipment.
“Shinola features exceptional products that are really going to appeal to our guests and enhance their shopping experience,” said Paula Kelliher, director of Marketing for The Westchester.
The new 861-square-foot outpost will feature the brand’s full lineup of goods. Exclusive to Shinola is the Willard Bar, a custom watch program, named for Willard Bixby - one of the founders of the iconic 1920s shoe polish brand.
The Willard Program allows customers to build a Shinola watch that looks and feels tailored to them. Shoppers can choose from an assortment of watch cases and straps and have their personalized Shinola watch built in-store.
The store will also offer Shinola’s signature free monogramming station, where buyers can have journals and leather goods embossed with their initials or name. Additionally, customers purchasing select pieces from Shinola’s jewelry collection can have their pieces sent to Detroit to be custom engraved.
The Westchester store is the brand's 25th location.
